Hello. I am Linda Dodds. I became interested in becoming a therapist after my father died when I was 12 years old. My family was devastated, especially my mother who was left to parent me, my 11 year old brother and my 3 year old sister. My mother sought group counseling through the local community health clinic and found it helpful. I decided then I wanted to pursue a behavioral health career and focused on that. When I am not counseling, I paint, read, travel, see friends, etc. I live in Santa Fe, which offers many cultural and creative options. When you first come to meet, we will explore whether you are comfortable and whether we are a good fit . We will explore what is going on in your life and how you want to change. We will do a timeline of your difficulties.I like to get a thorough picture of what's happening in your life. I like working with a diverse clientele and all are welcome. I have a masters in Human Development and Family Relationship. I also have all the courses for a masters in Clinical Psychology. I studied multi- modal Expressive arts therapy at Appalachian State University and at the European Graduate School in Saas Fe, Switzerland.
