Getting to know Linda Neal

I have two Master's Degrees, one in Clinical Social Work and one in Psychology. I have 28 years' experience. In those years of higher education and experience I have adapted much of my therapy to an umbrella of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with many others that include Evidence-Based theories and techniques. I specialize in treating victims of abuse. This includes Narcissistic abuse. I am a good listener and am guided by what my client says to guide my approach. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) I was originally licensed in Texas but moved back to West Virginia in 2004. Personally, I am addicted to learning. I stay up to date in my field. Much of my studies were at a PhD level, and I got good at spotting the strengths and weaknesses of scholarly research reports. I try to keep balance in my life. I have two small dogs and two cats as well as a small flock of chickens (One rooster and five hens.) The hens have started laying. It is only a hobby. They are fun, entertaining, and educational.
