Getting to know Linda OLeary

Hello, I'm Linda O'Leary. I'm excited to meet you soon and start working on your therapy goals together. Taking the first steps in your progress is a journey we will embark on side by side. I am passionate about working with individuals experiencing anxiety and depression, particularly those related to pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. I also focus on supporting those who are neurodivergent, dealing with life transitions, grief, and relationship issues. My approach is collaborative, and I enjoy helping my clients form, work on, and accomplish their goals. I believe that goals need to be realistic, specific, and measurable, and it's important to celebrate your wins along the way. I strive to meet each patient where they are. Many of my clients often feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious. They are eager to improve but may not yet have the tools needed to make their goals a reality. My role is to provide those tools and support you in your journey toward better mental health. In our first session, we will get to know each other and decide if we're a good fit. We will review your background and history, as well as your current struggles and symptoms. Together, we will talk about your goals and objectives, focusing on your priorities. I will ask you questions about your goals and objectives, and I hope you feel free to ask me questions, too! I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) and am a Licensed Independent Social Worker. My specializations include trauma, anxiety, autism spectrum support, depression, developmental disabilities, family relationships, grief/bereavement, intimate/romantic relationships, learning disorders, life transitions, perinatal support (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, antisocial behavior, medical issues/physical health, military/veteran support, and sleep disorders. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for those who prefer or require remote sessions.
