Getting to know Linda Thompson

My clients are those who struggle with relationships, managing their emotions, illnesses, or past experiences and are looking to understand their needs, how to communicate them to others, and how to become their most authentic, satisfied self. If you find that you are unable to let go of past pain and it is keeping you from living the life you desire, or that your relationships are not as fulfilling as you want them to be, I can help. If you find yourself not living the authentic life you desire and want to learn how to communicate openly, ask for, and get what you need from others, I can help. I hold a PhD in Marriage and Family Counseling from Saint Louis University, which informs my compassionate and effective approach to therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I work with clients to identify their current coping skills and the influence of past experiences and relationships on their ability to cope with life and be the best person they can be for their own peace and happiness and for those they are in relationships with. I believe in the power of attachment to others with a balance of individuation.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
