It can be scary, overwhelming, or even shameful to seek help; however, this is the first crucial step in your healing process. You might be depressed, anxious, angry, or afraid, but what I’ve come to understand is that every feeling is there to teach you something valuable. Feelings are gateways to your inner wisdom, allowing you to see things clearly. They can guide you toward your true path and help you make better decisions for yourself. They are what make us human and enable us to connect with each other, fostering better relationships and, ultimately, happier lives. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from New York University, which has deepened my understanding of these emotional experiences and how to support individuals on their journey toward healing.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I mainly work with feelings to help you become more comfortable while getting to the root cause of problems. I use a psychodynamic approach to focus on things you’re doing unconsciously to increase awareness about your behaviors so you can start to change them. If you can see what’s broken, then you can fix it.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have experience working with trauma survivors and a multitude of issues around relationships, anxiety, depression and anger. I can help you learn how to be in the driver’s seat so you are in control and feel empowered to change your life around. We will work on identifying goals and set up a plan on how to achieve them. This is a collaborative process where your input is valuable and necessary to get to where you want to be. I am hoping that you feel heard, seen, and will have a clear understanding of the direction you need to go in.
