Welcome! I'm Lindsay Lien (she/her/hers), a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Hope Therapy Group. My background includes clinical experience working with adults, teens, and children in community outpatient clinics, school-based counseling, and college counseling.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I enjoy working with adults (individual & couples) and teens. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, grief and loss, and occupational and academic stress. My therapeutic methods are grounded in evidenced-based practices such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I approach the therapeutic relationship with authenticity and compassion. I place strong emphasis on building a trusting client/therapist alliance and strive to empower my clients while working together toward goals and desired life changes. My hope is that therapy will help you feel more self-confident, hopeful, and self-aware. In our sessions, you can expect a specialized approach to your unique needs and goals.
