Do you feel stuck? You have tried everything, but nothing seems to help. You have reached a point in your life or relationship where you are desperate for change. As people, we are not designed to carry life's burdens alone, and deciding to seek help takes courage. Sometimes the most difficult times in our lives teach us the depth of our true strength. It is my passion to help adults, adolescents, couples, and families discover their own personal journey toward healing so that they are better equipped to live a happier and healthier life. Through a warm and supportive environment, it is my priority that clients feel safe and comfortable throughout their entire experience. My strengths-based approach assists clients with identifying immediate ways they can implement positive change in their lives, and I individualize treatment specific to each client based on their goals and needs. Ultimately, it is my goal to empower clients to learn how to cope more efficiently and effectively, while empathically challenging them along the way. I hold a Master's degree in Family Therapy from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, which informs my comprehensive and compassionate approach to therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Do you feel stuck? You have tried everything, but nothing seems to help. You have reached a point in your life or relationship where you are desperate for change. As people, we are not designed to carry life’s burdens alone, and deciding to seek help takes courage. Sometimes the most difficult times in our lives teach us the depth of our true strength. It is my passion to help adults, adolescents, couples, and families discover their own personal journey towards healing so that they are better equipped to live a happier and healthier life. Through a warm and supportive environment, it is my priority that clients feel safe and comfortable throughout their entire experience. Ultimately, it is my goal to empower clients to learn how to cope more efficiently and effectively, while empathically challenging them along the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have experience working with clients that battle with anxiety, depression, post-partum issues, bipolar type disorders, birth trauma, miscarriages, grief, abuse, communication issues, infidelity, and family relationship issues. Through my previous work at a crisis pregnancy center, I gained experience working with new moms and couples navigating the stresses that come with having a new baby, parenthood, strained in-law relationships, foster/adoption, and parents of differently abled children. Prior to that, I received extensive crisis response training during my time at Texas A&M University. My experience in crisis work taught me how resilient we as humans are designed to be, and that how we respond to difficult things makes the difference of whether we merely survive, or thrive. It is my goal that you gain the tools to successfully transition from surviving to thriving.
