Are you feeling overwhelmed by everyday tasks? Are you bogged down by work stress? Does worrying and feelings of unease take up much of your day? Life is too short to feel stuck. Sometimes, obstacles can get in the way of living your best life. As your therapist, I will assist you in improving your life by giving you a safe space to look inward in order to increase self-awareness, which can result in personal growth. I consider it a privilege to be part of your journey and will teach you the tools necessary to take your power back and take ownership of your desired goals. My approach Through the therapeutic journey, you can expect to feel supported, challenged, and encouraged. I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches to identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. I will help you recognize difficult emotions and develop strategies to effectively manage them in healthy and productive ways. With a collaborative approach, we will be working to ensure you meet your goals and improve your quality of life. You will build resilience and feel empowered to tackle life's challenges and obstacles. I look forward to meeting you! My focus I work with clients who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma related to their profession, such as law enforcement and corrections. During our initial session, we will delve into the issues at hand and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. My communication style I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I will help you learn how to have control over your thoughts to change your feelings for the better.
