“I am so glad that I waited for Lindsay to have availability. After trying some other therapists and not feeling a good fit - I was finally able to get in with her and she has been an immense help with my mental health, my perspective on parenting, and how to create time to rediscover myself in this new chapter of my life. She is warm and kind, but also challenges the way I think about things. I am so thankful for her, and highly recommend her.”

Getting to know Lindsay Schulz

Hi, I'm Lindsay. Do you often feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or like your emotions are out of your control? Are your relationships, self-care, health, work, and family pulling you in a million directions when you feel like you have nothing left to give? Are you struggling to adapt to the changes that a relationship or new parenthood have brought upon you? What about that inner voice that tells you that you aren't enough, you aren't doing it right, and everyone else has something figured out that you can't quite pin down? Maybe you are anticipating or in the throes of a difficult life transition, major loss, or reckoning with some element of your past that has resurfaced as panic, anxiety, distraction, irritability, or shutting down. If so, you deserve a space to sort through it all. I practice from the perspective that the relationship that usually needs more time, attention, and healing is the one we have with ourselves. Together, we can collaboratively work to identify areas of strength and imbalance, sources of stress, beliefs that hold you back, and strategies and insights to encourage you to stay grounded in the present.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am currently accepting new clients for daytime teletherapy. My role in our work together is to provide empathy, support, kindness, reflection and curiosity. My hope for you is that you leave feeling just a little better, if not a whole lot better, than when you arrived. Our lives, and our feelings, are complex; it can be a challenge to understand all of the pieces of ourselves. In my work with survivors of trauma, addiction, and mental illness, I have learned about the resilience inherent in all individuals. My intent is to help you identify and promote your strengths and abilities, while learning effective ways to cope and heal.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
