Getting to know Lindsey Carnick

Hi, I'm Lindsey. Therapy isn't helpful unless it's a good fit for the individual. A therapist needs to understand the concerns that bring a person to therapy, and also what kind of help will fit the individual's unique personality, history, and lifestyle. In over ten years of clinical psychotherapy work, I've had the privilege of working with therapy clients from all backgrounds, lifestyles, professions, and parts of the country and the world who have been seeking practical, compassionate help with a wide variety of concerns that impact their quality of life. My practice philosophy is that therapy should be founded in evidence-based approaches that are in sync with the preferences, goals, and history of my clients. I earned my Master of Social Work from Indiana University and went on to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Indiana and Colorado. My specialty areas of focus are grief/bereavement, anxiety, stress, relational patterns and concerns, health behaviors, psychodynamic issues, and family dynamics. I am also a licensed yoga instructor.
