Getting to know Lindsey Daloyan
Hi, I'm Lindsey. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with 8 years of experience working with individuals of all ages. I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University, Northridge. My training has focused on clients with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs who are also struggling with relationships, mental health, and/or school-related issues. I have also worked with individuals facing depression, anxiety, grief, bullying, self-esteem challenges, learning disabilities, and much more. Additionally, I have significant experience providing therapy for caregivers and family members feeling overwhelmed and struggling to start each day.
Everyone experiences life differently, which means treatment for every individual must be based on their unique needs. I have experience with a variety of treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and more. I will adapt my approach based on your needs.
Clients have described me as warm, understanding, and empathetic. I have extensive knowledge about resources in the Central Valley for those with disabilities, including the IEP process. I would also love to provide faith-based Christian counseling. I look forward to walking through life with you and providing the support you are seeking!
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Once you book a session with me, you will receive emails requesting you complete a profile with assessments and insurance information. Once that has been completed, the appointment will be scheduled and you will receive the link to my virtual practice. In our first meeting, I will get to know you and why you are seeking therapy. We will create goals together and form a plan specifically for you.
