Getting to know Lindsey Macfarlane

Lindsey brings 15 years of experience in the mental health field. Her trauma-informed care approach is the core of how she approaches treatment. Her philosophy stems from the belief that Trauma creates change you Don't choose. Healing is about creating change you Do choose. - Michelle Rosenthal Meeting an individual and/or family where they are and developing specialized care to create meaningful goals, gain understanding through education, empowerment with tools and skills, and develop positive core beliefs. Lindsey is experienced working with individuals of any age experiencing Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, ADHD, Self-Harm, Addiction, Grief/Loss, Abuse, Adoption, Parenting difficulties, Attachment Issues, Maternal Mental Health, and PTSD/PTSD-C. She is EMDR Level 1 certified and a certified Integrative Trauma Practitioner which includes utilizing Somatic Modalities, Mindfulness, Meditation, Movement, and Breathwork. She is also trained in a variety of modalities including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Art and Play Therapy, Attachment Focused, and Parent-child interaction therapy. Lindsey received her Master's degree from New York University and has lived back in Utah since graduating. In her free time, she loves exploring the mountains and wonders of Utah with her dogs, kids, family, and friends. A few of her favorite things is playing pickleball, going to live concerts, paddle boarding, yoga, hiking, and Brunching at local restaurants especially if it has a dog friendly patio!
