What should a new client know about working with you?

My counseling style is warm, supportive, and interactive. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, where we work together to establish concrete goals and steps to help you overcome your current difficulties. My therapeutic approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling. I understand that starting therapy can be intimidating, but rest assured, you set the pace, and I meet you where you are. I'm proud of you for taking this step!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. Together, we can tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I know firsthand that seeking help can be a challenge and that it takes courage to strive for a more fulfilling and happier life. If you're ready to take that step, I'm here to support and empower you through your journey, whatever that may be.
