Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying wounds that others can't see - whether that's the weight of trauma, the disorientation of a faith crisis, or the quiet erosion of your sense of self. You deserve a space where those experiences are met with steadiness, not judgment. That's exactly what Lindsey Webber offers. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master's in Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University, Lindsey works with teens, young adults, and adults who are navigating some of life's most difficult terrain - trauma and PTSD, depression, and religious harm and faith deconstruction. She also supports clients with major life transitions, self-worth struggles, and relationship challenges. Lindsey is one of a small number of therapists with specialized credentials in faith-integrated trauma therapy, holding a Religious Trauma Studies Certification from The Global Center for Religious Research and advanced training through The Religious Trauma Institute. For clients recovering from high-control religious environments, spiritual wounds, or the complex grief of deconstruction, she offers something rare: a clinician who truly understands the landscape. "I often think of my role as part supportive cheerleader and part thoughtful guide," she says - someone who holds space for processing while asking the questions that spark real growth. The goal isn't just to feel better. It's to build genuine internal confidence, healthy boundaries, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect to feel safe, seen, and respected - exactly as you are, wherever you are in your journey. My approach is trauma-informed, validating, and paced by you. I understand that trauma lives in both the body and the mind, so we won't rush the process. Whether you're processing past trauma, navigating a faith crisis or religious harm, or simply trying to reconnect with a sense of self, this is a space free of judgment and full of steadiness.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach draws on Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Strengths-Based, and Rogerian/Client-Centered modalities, tailored to what you need most. Sessions blend supportive space for processing with thoughtful, growth-oriented questions - I see my role as part cheerleader, part guide. Together, we work toward more than symptom relief: building genuine internal confidence, healthy boundaries, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
