Psychotherapist
WI
Hello and welcome, I look forward to meeting with you. I put an emphasis on making people feel welcome and heard when they come to therapy. I understand that it can be overwhelming or maybe even uncomfortable when talking to someone new. I believe that one size does not fit all when it comes to therapy. I like to meet my clients where they are at and come up with a plan together to make life more enjoyable. Please do not hesitate to contact me. Together, we can come up with a plan to help you move forward or process something you might be working through. It is helpful to know you are not alone. I love being a support and helping people to live their best lives. My approach I take a holistic and solution-focused, positive approach to therapy. I believe that all areas of our lives affect how we feel. Whether you are feeling anxious, depressed, or just out of sorts, I believe that the client is their own expert, and I can help coach and talk through life's difficulties. I am also trained as a Meditation, Mindfulness teacher, and an RYT 200-hour Yoga and Yoga Therapy instructor. I love incorporating mindfulness and yoga into the clinical setting. My focus I take a client centered approach. I believe and trust that my clients know what is best for them. I want my clients to feel heard and listened to. I have over 25 years of experience helping people navigate life transitions, relationship difficulties, experiencing anxiety or depression. I also have 17 years of providing therapy to college age students. I love working together with my clients to come up with an achievable plan to help them start feeling better and to move forward in their lives. My communication style I like to provide a welcoming space where people can be themselves. I practice with empathy and listen in a non-judgmental way. I also believe that open and honest communication is important in the therapeutic alliance.
