Hello! I'm Lisa, a life-long resident of South Carolina and a licensed Master's Social Worker in both New York and South Carolina. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and bring over 20 years of counseling experience, focusing on individuals, couples, young adults, and older adults. I believe in building trusting relationships with my clients and providing a safe space to work through challenges and struggles. I am passionate about helping clients discover, develop, and engage in strategies and skills to reach their goals. I often incorporate cognitive behavioral techniques and psychoeducation alongside approaches that are Client Centered, Strength Based, and Solution Focused. I enjoy working with clients facing depression, anxiety, life adjustment transitions, and substance use issues. As your counselor, I am committed to walking with you while providing a safe, affirming, and supportive space.
