Getting to know Lisa Calleja

The provider is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. My mission is to assist clients in feeling fully empowered, living in alignment with their value system, and embracing life on life's terms while operating from their authentic selves. I work with both individuals and couples and am adept at helping people overcome obstacles that have prevented them from achieving their goals. My areas of specialization include building better communication skills, defining and implementing boundaries, anger management techniques, emotion regulation skills, and confronting patterns of behavior that hinder growth. It is an honor and a privilege to witness a client's vulnerability. No matter the situation you seek help with, my goal is to provide a space where you feel truly seen and know you are not alone. The willingness to engage in a process of healing is a courageous and worthwhile endeavor. I earned both a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (spring 2023) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. My prior career includes leadership positions within corporate and nonprofit entities. I am a member of the Mental Health Counselors of Central Florida (MHCCF), the Central Florida Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (CFAMFT), and the American Counseling Association (ACA).
