Getting to know Lisa Catalano

Are you in your 40s, 50s, or beyond—and finding yourself navigating unexpected shifts in how you feel, who you are, or what you want? Whether it’s quiet anxiety, persistent sadness, relationship changes, health concerns, or a deeper longing for meaning, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it out alone either. I'm Lisa. I'm a therapist who works with adults in midlife and beyond—those navigating transitions, questioning long-held roles, or simply feeling the weight of everything they’ve been carrying. Maybe you're showing up for everyone else but struggling to name your own needs. Maybe things look “fine” on the outside, but internally, you're untethered. Together, we can make sense of what’s shifting. Whether you're managing general anxiety, feelings of sadness, burnout, grief, or identity changes, I offer a space to slow down, feel, process, and move forward with more clarity and compassion. With over 20 years of experience as a clinical social worker—much of it spent alongside individuals and families facing serious illness and life-altering moments—I bring a steady, grounded presence to the work. My approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from evidence-based practices to support your emotional wellbeing and resilience. Therapy with me is collaborative and real. You don’t have to be the strong one here. This is a space where you can exhale, explore what’s emerging, and begin to reconnect with yourself—gently, thoughtfully, and at your own pace. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Boston College and specialize in the emotional complexities that surface in midlife—grief, identity shifts, caregiving, aging, relationships, and the quiet ache for something more. If you’re ready to feel more like you again—and to build a life that feels aligned with who you're becoming—I’d love to connect. Reaching out can feel vulnerable. But it’s also a powerful step toward coming home to yourself.
