Getting to know Lisa Hernandez

I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker who walks alongside my clients through this journey we call "life." I bring over 10 years of social work experience and have specialized in crisis management, parenting struggles, anxiety, chronic illness, and spiritual care. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from Texas Christian University and will be pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Science with a focus on Social Work. I enjoy working with individuals and families to help navigate the struggles life brings. No matter what part of life my clients are in, I meet them where they are and am honored to have a part in their journey to wellness and wholeness. In my own life journey, I am a wife of almost 22 years and a mother of two near-grown children. My family are avid animal lovers and have rescued and rehomed dozens of animals. I am no longer surprised when one of my family members comes home with a stray they picked up off the side of the road. Currently, we have 4 dogs, 6 cats, and a parrot. My self-care hobbies include quilting, sewing, and painting.
