Lisa Hulsizer, LCSW

Lisa Hulsizer, LCSW

Psychotherapist
FL
Hi there! My name is Lisa, and I am a licensed clinical social worker here in sunny Florida. I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. I have 6 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents, and I have found that my absolute favorite population to work with is teenagers! The teenage years are filled with a lot of changes and growth, and I love supporting my clients through this challenging time. I address a wide range of issues with my clients, including depression, anxiety, school-related challenges, self-harm, suicidal ideation, anger, life changes, self-esteem, and family conflict-just to name a few! A little about me: I live in central Florida with my husband, daughter, 3 dogs, and 7 cats (yes, you read that right-7!). In my free time, I enjoy playing video games, watching movies (I love all things Marvel), and visiting the numerous theme parks nearby. I look forward to meeting you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I know that a lot of adolescents/teens dread going to therapy, so my goal is to make our sessions something that they look forward to. I want my clients to walk away from our sessions feeling motivated and hopeful for the future, and also excited for when we meet again!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
