Getting to know Lisa Knight

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with experience serving children, adolescents, and adults since 2017. I began my career in addiction treatment, working from 2011 to 2017 with individuals navigating substance use, recovery, and life transitions. That work provided a strong foundation in understanding the impact of trauma, relationships, and emotional pain. Throughout my counseling career, I have specialized in working with children who have experienced trauma, providing trauma-informed care and support to help them feel safe, understood, and empowered. I also spent several years working in school counseling, supporting students and families through academic, emotional, and behavioral challenges. In addition, I have experience providing crisis services to adults, helping individuals through some of their most difficult and overwhelming moments. Today, I work primarily with adults while continuing to serve some children and adolescents as well. I have experience helping clients with trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, family and relationship concerns, crisis situations, and emotional healing. I truly enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds and strive to create a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and encouraged as they move toward growth and healing.
