Her journey began with a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, but her deeper education came through twenty years of committed meditation practice rooted in Theravada Vipassana. Over the years, she's trained extensively through Spirit Rock’s Dedicated Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner Programs, studying with renowned teachers such as Dan Siegel, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Venerable Analayo, Ayya Tathaaloka, Sayadaw U Tejaniya—and continues to be guided by the teachings of Guy Armstrong, Kittisaro, and Thanissara.
