I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced significant trauma and abuse. As a therapist, I work to collaborate with the client as a supportive partner in recognizing and achieving their goals. Throughout my career, I have had the honor to work with a variety of clients experiencing grief and loss from the death of a loved one, divorce, abuse, as well as miscarriage. As a client, I was fortunate to undergo EMDR in processing the grief I experienced from the loss of my mother and divorce. I utilize evidenced based approaches which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-focused Therapy, as well as EMDR to help clients develop coping skills, improved relationships, and increased self- awareness within a supportive and collaborative environment.
