UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. I have a casual, conversational, and collaborative approach with my clients. I view the therapist/client relationship as a partnership because you are the expert on YOU. My theoretical orientation is primarily through cognitive-behavioral (CBT), systems, trauma-informed, and solution-focused lenses. With three decades as a psychotherapist, a PhD in Social Work from Indiana University, a Master's in Social Work from Indiana University, five grown kids (including a stepchild and a set of twins), and one divorce, I feel prepared for anything that comes my way-and I can help you be prepared too!
