Getting to know Lisa McCann

Hello and welcome! I am a LICSW in the state of NH, ME and VT. I have worked in the field for over 10 years, but have been licensed for about 4 years. I have a lot of experience with kids, teens and families. I have completed different trainings on modalities, but don't necessarily follow one specific one as I create more an individual approach to each individual and I am Child-Parent Psychotherapy rostered and have completed the certification for Reunification Therapy for families. I form my approach on the individual needs of the clients. I feel I am realistic in my approach and am warm, caring and accepting. Clients that work with me can expect to be comfortable to set some goals that are realistic. The environment I set is safe environment where clients can feel safe exploring their past and current trauma and stressors.
