Lisa McDonald received her master’s degree in social work and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Southern Indiana. During her more than 10 years of experience she has worked as an outpatient therapist in both school and clinic settings. She is rostered in child-parent psychotherapy (CPP) and certified in parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT). She also has extensive training and experience in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and motivational interviewing. She works with children and adolescents providing individual, family and group therapy services specializing in treating behavioral disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety and parent-child relational problems.
