My communication style is always compassionate and non-judgmental, working together at a pace that you are comfortable with. As a CBT therapist, I will work to help you identify and change destructive thought patterns that have a negative influence on your behavior and emotions. I also take an eclectic approach to therapy tailoring the type of therapy that I provide to meet the specific needs of each individual that I work with. I will help provide you with tools that you can use everyday to help deal with both physical and psychological negative symptoms. My goal is to help provide you relief from any negative symptoms and emotions that you may be experiencing, and to help you gain a better understanding of your situation and possible solutions. I have worked as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for 12 years. I received my Master’s Degree from Troy University. I have been privileged to work with many individuals in both on-site and online settings to address a wide range of issues and mental health concerns. I have worked with numerous individuals to address a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, anger management, life skills, relationship/family issues, substance abuse and trauma. I have served as a lead therapist for a national research study on ADHD. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy and Mindfulness.
