What should a new client know about working with you?

Do you or a loved one suffer from brain related issues such as ADHD, autism, learning disorders, brain injury, dementia, stroke, anxiety, depression, or other issues? If so, I can help. My practice is focused on providing comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological testing for individuals. I highly encourage you to explore the testing services that I offer to determine if they may be a suitable fit for your needs. I have the expertise and skill set required to evaluate individuals with brain-related disorders and concerns. Additionally, I have years of experience assessing conditions including but not limited to ADHD, autism, developmental delay, traumatic brain injury, and dementia to help you find the appropriate diagnosis and treatment for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The process for working with clients undergoing psychological or neuropsychological evaluations begins with a comprehensive interview, which allows me to gain an understanding of you or your loved ones background, needs, history and presenting issues. This interview is essential for gathering information about personal, educational, and occupational experiences, as well as any relevant medical and mental health history. By obtaining a thorough understanding of your unique circumstances, I am better equipped to tailor the assessment process to your specific needs and concerns. Following the initial interview, you will undergo a series of neuropsychological tests and questionnaires designed to evaluate your cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and personality functioning. These assessments can provide valuable insights into areas such as attention, memory, reasoning, executive functioning, and emotional regulation, among others. Once the testing is complete, I will analyze the results and create a comprehensive report outlining your strengths and weaknesses, as well as any relevant diagnoses and treatment recommendations. We will then schedule a subsequent appointment to review the findings together, discuss the implications, and develop a treatment plan for moving forward. This collaborative process ensures you are well-informed about your assessment results and equipped with the knowledge and resources necessary to address your identified needs.

I had to rebook my first appointment and she completely forgot my second appointment.

I began looking for behavioral health services as I felt that I was experiencing a mental health crisis that I needed assistance with. So I was excited at the ease of the experience with Zocdoc. After scheduling my appointment, I received several texts and emails about adding my information. I followed the instructions, completed all docs, uploaded all of my information, and really took the time to ensure everything was thorough. I then received an email from the office which told me NOT to complete all of the steps that I had already completed and that instead, I had to complete those steps within their website. I was confused by all of the emails and texts and which systems to use or not use. Instead of being kind or helpful, the office sent multiple incomplete emails that were just signed "the office manager." I was offended by the impersonal touch of the "the office manager" signature, as it seemed to be trying to send a message of authority rather than being helpful.
