In today's world with all the uncertainty, self-doubt, anxiety, big emotions or past traumas, it may seem impossible to turn things around. I can help you sort through it all by helping you build new foundations of self-reliance. Some of the techniques I use are EMDR for trauma, PTSD, and depression. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). For past trauma you might think your traumatic event happened a long time ago, but your body keeps a record of it. EMDR helps you find those memories that are stuck in your brain to process so they may get unstuck and stored away properly in your memory. CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for self-esteem, anxiety, compulsive disorders. DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) for Suicidal ideations, self-harm, and intense emotions. I use Client-Centered, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) This technique uses the self-stimulation of acupuncture pointe through tapping to decrease distress. EFT tapping is a body-centric therapy that combines elements of cognitive and exposure therapy with light pressure on acupoints. All techniques I am trained in are research based, and I continue with updated training. I believe one can overcome many symptoms of trauma, (depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and more) through a combination of specialized techniques. I work with clients to take their power back and find the joy and peace they have within themselves. The population I work with is Adolescents, Adults, Couples, and families.
