What should a new client know about working with you?

Rooted in compassion-focused care, my approach honors each person’s unique experience of loss. I integrate evidence-based frameworks such as the Dual Process Model, which acknowledges the natural oscillation between grieving and restoring, and Meaning Reconstruction Theory, which supports individuals in rebuilding a sense of identity and purpose.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to express emotions, explore meaning, and begin reshaping life after loss. In our first session, we’ll review any initial paperwork, discuss what brought you to counseling, and begin building a foundation of trust. Together, we’ll explore your challenges, values, and hopes for healing. It’s perfectly natural to feel uncertain at first, so we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Our goal is to create a compassionate, collaborative space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.
