What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in working with people who are depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, dealing with trauma, wanting to reach goals but feel stuck, or feel that something is wrong but don't know what, or any combination of these things.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have an eclectic approach; I use a lot of cognitive behavioral methods (examine unhelpful thinking habits) combined with psychodynamic exploration (family history) to make connections to current difficulties. I also tend to use humor.
