What should a new client know about working with you?

We will not get through this life without suffering, but it is up to us to transform distress into something positive. I believe in the power of the therapeutic alliance – the bond that develops between therapist and client(s) and the ability to be a catalyst for growth and change. I love listening to my client’s stories and giving them the opportunity to feel seen, understood and respected. I utilize a strengths-based and trauma-informed perspective. I enjoy collaborating on a treatment plan to facilitate the life they are seeking for themselves and their loved ones. Some of the tools I incorporate into treatment include mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and the philosophy of stoicism. My specialty is working with parents and parents-to-be, but I enjoy seeing all adults and couples.
