What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide a warm, supportive, and culturally responsive space where your experiences are seen and validated. My approach is collaborative and practical, using evidence-based strategies like DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed practices to help you manage difficult emotions, explore identity, and build skills for lasting change. Together, we focus on what matters most to you and tailor therapy to fit your unique needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In a typical session, we start by exploring what brought you to therapy and what matters most to you. I take a collaborative approach, listening carefully and helping you identify goals that are meaningful to your life. Sessions often include talk therapy, practical exercises, and reflection to help you build coping skills, manage emotions, and work through challenges. I tailor each session to your needs and focus on creating tools you can use outside of therapy.
