Liza Spielman, MA, LPC, earned her Master’s in Counseling from Missouri Baptist University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in working with children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of challenges such as suicide, homicide, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, bullying, anger, relationship issues, physical and mental abuse, and family unit concerns. Liza employs various counseling approaches during sessions, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. She believes in being a good listener and maintaining a non-judgmental stance to support her clients and motivate them to make healthy choices that help them cope with life’s stressors. Liza has provided individual, family, and group therapy in diverse settings, working with children, adolescents, and adults in hospital inpatient psychiatric units, a county jail, a detention center, and with The Megan Meier Foundation, supporting families and communities affected by bullying and cyberbullying.
