Hi there, I'm Lizette! Lizette Garcia, #77863. I decided to pour myself into years studying Counseling Psychology in Texas, earning my Master's degree from Nelson University. I studied professionals from all fields, which helped me understand how to break family dysfunction and better myself individually. I had to learn to better understand human interactions both individually and within a family system. Having years of experience doing counseling and working on my own family, I have learned that I can keep taking steps toward hope to create positive, permanent change. My focus In my life, hope is not an end but a beginning. I have the power of choice. Fueled by hope-the belief that things will get better-I decided to focus on doing what it took to change my life. My road to hope helped me see and pursue solutions that were hidden behind a thick fog of despair due to growing up in a dysfunctional home. One thing I tell others is ?you cannot give to others what you haven't been taught.? My parents lacked the hope to break the cycle of dysfunction from their own family upbringing. I believe my parents forgot they had a choice to change things. I have worked on myself and connected this variety of work with my own experience in the therapy room, integrating it by bringing hope into my daily practice with clients. This has directly resulted in my extremely high success rate for both individual and family satisfaction levels. My communication style The communication style and environment I create for my sessions include compassion, perseverance, kindness, integrity, determination, courage, trustworthiness, empathy, and understanding. My goals for you My goal is to collaboratively work with you to transform long-standing behavior patterns and negative perceptions that may be holding you back from your full potential in different areas of your life.

Did not finish the second appointment, made the decision to no longer work with me without taking the time to get to know me. Additionally, I didn’t feel like she listened to me. I was still charged even though she didn’t complete the appointment.
