I believe that we are all created for a purpose and shaped by the events we experience throughout our lives. I desire to help you feel empowered to become the person you want to be. Through counseling, I aim to create a space where you can become aware of your behavioral patterns, emotions, and thoughts, then equip you with the right tools to break the unhealthy patterns that stand in the way of what you want for your life. I address a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. I also work with individuals and couples struggling in their relationships. One of my passions is working with women who have experienced infidelity in their relationships. If you have suffered betrayal of any kind, it is my desire to walk with you on your journey toward healing, rebuilding trust in yourself, and becoming whole again. Betrayal trauma can result from events such as multiple partners, emotional affairs, and compulsive porn use. Moreover, the lying and gaslighting that often accompany these behaviors are also deeply traumatizing. Throughout your time with me, my goal is to help you find stability and safety again. I want you to feel validated and to normalize your emotional responses. Emotions like anger can be hard to understand; part of our work will include giving you the chance to make sense of your anger if you are experiencing it. I will be with you in your pain and walk with you every step of the way. As your therapist, I will help you see and understand yourself better and encourage you to make the necessary changes you desire. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Moody Bible Institute, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your healing journey.
