Getting to know Loren Galese

The provider is a “Licensed Professional Counselor" and their license number is 37PC00628600. Do you get stuck at 2AM questioning your thoughts, your experiences or why the same themes happen, I may be the one to help you untangle that web. With over a decade of experience as a therapist, I support individuals and couples in understanding patterns that impact their relationships, emotions, and sense of self. My work is rooted in helping clients feel seen, understood, and better equipped to navigate challenges with clarity and confidence. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, or unsure why things feel so hard. I'm here to help people make sense of their emotional patterns, develop practical coping tools, and feel more grounded in daily life. I want you to feel seen and heard, and develop a relationship that feels safe.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is compassionate, straightforward, and focused on helping you feel better. I see therapy as client centered, where we go at your pace, what feels natural and safe to you, never forced. I work with individuals and couples who want healthier relationships with others and with themselves. Therapy often focuses on understanding attachment patterns, improving communication, and healing past experiences that show up in present relationships (my go to's are EMDR and IFS but not a requirement to work with me). My goal is to help clients feel more connected, confident, and secure in how they relate. I help adults and teens navigate anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges with warmth, clarity, and practical support. Therapy with me is collaborative, non-judgmental, and focused on helping you feel more grounded and confident in your life. The most important part of therapy is feeling like the therapist is a good fit for you!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I don't believe I have a "typical" session since it depends on each client, what someone is navigating at that time, if we are utilizing EMDR and IFS. I enjoy sessions that organically flow versus structured time but have structured sessions for those who need it. Usually, the beginning is catching up on the week, what occurred that needs to be addressed or if nothing was problematic, jumping back into where we left off during last session. I am adaptable to what works with the client I am working with.

In-network insurances

Loren Galese, LPC is not in-network with any insurances

It’s common for mental health providers to be out-of-network. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage, so you may get partially reimbursed. Learn more

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $250 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $200 for 60 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork

More information on payments and coverage

I accept major credit cards for sessions, Zelle and Venmo as payment methods. Since I am an out of network provider, the client pays upfront for the session and I use a service called Mentaya to submit out of network claims on behalf of my clients. If you prefer to submit your own claims, I am happy to provide a superbill. If you select the option to do so, invoices will be sent after each session for your convenience.
