Hi, my name is Loren, and I am very excited to begin working with you. I have been a clinical social worker for six years after receiving my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University. I have worked with a range of clients from diverse backgrounds in both a public mental health clinic and a private practice. I specialize in areas such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is fairly direct, but each experience is going to be different. Specializing in depression, anxiety, and trauma, I focus on internal motivations and past lived experiences to help better shape our understanding of symptoms and moving through them in the future.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our initial session will focus on your background and your motivation for attending treatment, but from there we will move into what I call the "meat and potatoes" of your therapy. We will work together through your lived experience and create goals together to work towards your overall wellbeing. Clients working with me can expect an open and safe environment that nourishes insight, understanding, and healing.
