What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you’ll find a space where you’re truly heard and supported. I know it takes courage to reach out, and I’m here to create an environment where you feel safe, understood, and never judged. I believe in meeting you exactly where you are—whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, past trauma, or life’s big transitions. I’m not here to rush you or push you into anything you're not ready for. This is your journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you. My approach is warm, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I believe that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I take time to really understand your unique story. Together, we’ll find the tools and strategies that work best for you, whether that’s mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral techniques, or something else that speaks to you. The goal is to help you build resilience, regain your sense of balance, and start feeling like yourself again—without feeling overwhelmed by the weight of it all. I’m not here to give you answers or fix things overnight, but I am here to guide and support you as we work through things together. You don’t have to have everything figured out to start; we’ll take it one step at a time. Above all, I want you to know that you’re not alone in this. I’m genuinely invested in helping you find your path to healing and peace, and I’ll be there to support you every step of the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When you start working with me, our first session will focus on getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you here, your background, and the challenges you’re currently facing. This is a time for you to share what’s on your mind, and for me to understand your unique experiences. We’ll also discuss what your goals are for therapy—whether it’s managing anxiety, overcoming past trauma, or navigating a life transition. The session is all about setting a foundation for our work together and helping me understand how I can best support you. After that, sessions typically focus on whatever is most relevant to you in the moment. Some days, we may explore deeper feelings, while other days may be more about practical tools and strategies to help you cope with stress or difficult emotions. Every session is tailored to your needs, and the length of therapy can vary based on your personal goals. Some clients prefer shorter-term work, while others may need more ongoing support—it’s completely up to you. I offer telehealth sessions, which gives you the flexibility to meet from the comfort of your home, but if in-person sessions are needed, I am happy to accommodate that on a case-by-case basis. The important thing is that the process feels right for you and your needs. If something isn't working or you want to adjust our approach, I encourage open communication so that we can make sure therapy is as effective as possible for you. Throughout our work together, I’m here to listen, guide, and support you at your own pace. You’re in control of the process, and my role is to help you build the tools and resilience you need to feel more balanced and fulfilled.
