Getting to know Lorena Vizcarra-Marquez
Hello! My name is Lorena and I am a bilingual, Spanish speaking therapist licensed in the state of CA. I offer virtual therapy where I help adult clients feel empowered to set healthy and necessary boundaries, feel confident to use their voices through healthy communication skills, and overcome anxious thought patterns. I feel especially passionate about supporting moms navigate challenges that may come with pregnancy and postpartum as well as rediscovering their new identity as they step into motherhood. Although becoming a mom can be such a special season in a person's life, as a mom myself, I know first hand of the unique challenges that moms may be forced to navigate all while trying to show up the best we can for our littles. I also specialize in working with women who may need support navigating family or relationship conflict and processing past trauma and healing inner-child wounds. My clinical experience also includes supporting those feeling overwhelmed with anxiety and stress, coping with recent life transitions, or those new to therapy who are looking for a safe compassionate space to talk.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
