**Currently providing free 15-minute consultations. Please see the schedule for availability.** I am an out-of-network provider, so most insurances can reimburse you up to 100% for out-of-pocket costs. I would be happy to help you through this process. A little bit about me: Over the course of 10 years in the mental health field, I have had the opportunity to work with clients of various ages, genders, and racial/ethnic backgrounds who have experienced an array of symptoms and diagnoses. I believe that clients are unique in their own way and that everyone's personal background brings a unique perspective. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Connecticut. I earned both my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. I have worked at Yale University School of Medicine as a Clinical Research Counselor and as an Outpatient Mental Health Counselor at a nonprofit organization in Pennsylvania. I am currently taking clients (ages 18+) for telehealth therapy. I offer therapy in both English and Arabic (Lebanese dialect).

What should a new client know about working with you?

I aim to explore that perspective and help guide client’s in a place where they feel safe and comfortable. This allows for mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth. I utilize evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, mindfulness, and more. I create an individualized treatment plan for each client and help them create realistic and attainable goals. Psychoeducation is an intervention I often incorporate, and I have found that it can help clients better understand their symptoms and/or diagnoses. I often put an emphasis on coping skills, self care, and healthy boundaries, as they are all a very important piece of the healing and growing process.
