Hello! I'm Lori, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the State of Ohio. I received my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 1998, and I bring 27 years of experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of serving a wide range of clients with moderate to severe mental health diagnoses.
My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion and understanding. I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, anger, PTSD, grief and loss, and stress management. When you decide to begin counseling with me, we'll start with an initial assessment to understand your unique needs. From there, I'll tailor our sessions using approaches like Client-Centered, Cognitive-Behavioral, Brief Solution-Focused, or Dialectical Behavior Therapies, depending on what best fits your treatment needs.
I believe in a collaborative process where you are actively involved in discussing your personal goals, hopes, and expectations. My goal is to guide you in making positive, lifelong changes in a non-judgmental and compassionate environment. I respect each of my clients' values, beliefs, and life expectations, and I'm committed to working together to meet your individual goals.
