Lori Stubbs, LCSW

Psychotherapist
GA
As a therapist, I bring authenticity, humor, and heart to every session. We’ll talk about the hard stuff, absolutely, but we’ll also celebrate your wins, untangle the chaos, and probably share a few laughs along the way. My approach is real, human, and refreshingly down-to-earth. If you’re looking for a therapist who embraces authenticity (yes, tattoos and colorful hair included!) and offers a space free of judgment, you’ve come to the right place. My goal is to help you feel comfortable being your full, unfiltered self while we work together to create meaningful change and growth. In our first session together, here's what you can expect Your first session isn’t about diving straight into the heavy stuff — it’s about getting to know each other and building a foundation of trust. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, talk through your goals, and create a space where you feel heard and supported. You’re welcome to ask questions and help shape how we approach your therapy journey together. The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions I don’t expect anyone to fit a mold. My laid-back, compassionate style helps clients feel safe and open to exploring who they are. Whether you’re figuring out your identity, learning to embrace your quirks, or navigating a tough chapter, I’ll meet you with acceptance, humor, and practical support. My goal is to help you feel empowered, seen, and confident in your own skin. The clients I'm best positioned to serve I work with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ individuals who are seeking an affirming space to explore, heal, and grow. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and centered on self-acceptance and empowerment. I offer in-person sessions for younger clients under 16 and provide therapy for teens and adults (16 and up), either in person or through telehealth — whichever feels most comfortable for you.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
