Hi, I am Lorna. It seems that in today's world, there's no time to stop and catch a breath. Time passes us by even when we struggle to remain focused and on task. I am here to be your ally in learning effective tools to organize your life your way. It is time to stop dreaming of what could be and how you would like your life to go and take the initiative toward the change that will bring you happiness. Whether it is situations outside of your control that are dragging your mood and energy or a situation with a significant other or a loved one that is making you struggle, I am here to help you stop existing and start living the life you are willing to work toward. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Alabama A&M University, which equips me with the knowledge and skills to support you on this journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I take a client-center approach to assist individuals walking through the process of change. Meeting you where you are while helping you explore where you want to be and encouraging you to implement the steps that will get you there. The goal is to reach a level of learning that will allow independence and maintenance beyond the therapeutic room.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
