With a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling and an Education Specialist Degree in Family Counseling, Louis is especially suited to incorporate clients’ familial and cultural backgrounds to uncover negative internalized beliefs that are holding back clients from living their best lives now. Louis is especially passionate about helping clients who have experienced Adverse Childhood Events and suffer with Complex PTSD. As an EMDR Trained clinician and Certified DBT therapist, Louis is able to help clients cope with and stabilize the intense emotions and reactions that accompany trauma while preparing clients to process and release traumatic past events.
