Louis E. Woolard, Jr., Ph.D., LCSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker who earned his Master's in Social Work from Marywood University and his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore. His special interests include child, adolescent, adult, and family psychotherapy, as well as program development. He has extensive experience providing mental health services to children and their families.
Louis Woolard previously served as Director of the Child and Youth Services Administration for the Commission on Mental Health Services for the District of Columbia, Director of a community mental health center, and Director of Residential Programs and Community Services for the New York State Office of Mental Health. He has also consulted for the juvenile justice systems of both New York State and the District of Columbia. Additionally, Louis provides technical assistance and training in the development of community-based mental health services to communities across the country.

Dr. Woolard listens carefully and gives active feedback. I've been to prior sessions with other therapists and felt like I wasn't being heard and didn't get any feedback. I felt comfortable enough to open up on my first visit with Dr. Woolard. I really think I found a therapist who can help me through my problems!

OMG ,
I was very depressed until I spoke with Dr. Louis and today I'm feeling so much better and continue to talk with him. He constantly reminds me to just breath . Yes I would highly recommend Dr. Louis , He Listens and is non judgmental.
