Lu Ann, LPC

Psychotherapist
PA
Hi there, I am Lu Ann, a Licensed Professional Counselor with 12 years of experience in private practice. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, career issues, and divorce trauma, just to name a few. My approach primarily incorporates Family Systems Theory, Person-Centered, and CBT, though I am open to integrating other methods as needed. Christian-based counseling is also available upon request. I hold an MEd in Education from Pennsylvania Western University, California, which has enriched my understanding of developmental and educational factors in mental health. Over the years, I have found that many people feel anxious about starting therapy due to fears of being judged or not being heard. I firmly believe that judgment has no place in counseling sessions. I am a strong advocate for being a compassionate listener. We all want someone who will truly listen without judgment, and I strive to provide that supportive space for my clients in every session.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
