I would love to work with a client who has struggled with depression, anxiety, some substance use, and has a history of trauma. I aim to help this client recognize how these issues are connected and perpetuate a cycle. Together, we would work to interrupt that cycle and set boundaries with themselves and in interpersonal relationships. I would support this client in finding healthy hobbies and coping skills while also challenging them to grow. I have experience, both personally and professionally, in treating the person as a whole and focusing on the importance of nutrition, exercise, and emotional wellness. I have worked with clients to find healthy, cost-effective ways to feed themselves and their families and incorporate healthy movement into their lives. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Suffolk University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and effective care.
