I have experience and interest in working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Holding a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hofstra University, I focus on overall personal growth and development. I have a particular interest in helping individuals find meaning and purpose, addressing relationship issues, self-esteem, anxiety, and life and career transitions.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I have a person-centered psychodynamic approach to therapy that draws upon CBT techniques, existential therapy, and narrative therapy. I have a warm approach that is rooted in compassion, positivity, and collaboration. My style uses thoughtful questioning to help individuals develop insight and understanding for your mental health concerns.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
As a licensed mental health counselor, my typical process for working with clients involves creating a safe and confidential space for them to share their thoughts, emotions, and concerns. I establish a therapeutic relationship built on trust and empathy, actively listening to their experiences and collaborating on setting goals. Through evidence-based techniques and personalized interventions, I help clients explore and gain insight into their challenges, develop coping strategies, and promote overall well-being.
