Getting to know Luciene Ehlert
If you are stressed about life or dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, finances, life transitions, difficulty in the workplace, addiction, low self-esteem, or grief, I can help. My goal is to empower clients to overcome the obstacles they face by building on their current strengths.
My passion is to guide clients in becoming aware of the self-limiting belief systems that prevent them from living happy, healthy, and balanced lives and to inspire them to make positive changes. My approach is strength-based, forming a collaborative relationship with clients, fostering self-awareness, effective problem solving, and the development of positive coping strategies. When working with clients struggling with addictions, I focus on helping them identify the underlying issues contributing to their addiction and support them in overcoming these challenges while acquiring purposeful direction, motivation, and independence. I recognize that each person is unique and requires individualized counseling strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, CAP and ICADC certified, with broad experience working with individuals, children, and families. I hold an MEd in Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University. I have worked extensively with clients facing mental health and substance use disorders, helping them overcome stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship difficulties, trauma, self-esteem issues, adjustment challenges, and loss or grief. I am trilingual and provide therapy in Portuguese, Spanish, and English.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
